The compact light unit is supplied with foot pedal and safety cover when ordered as the semi automatic version and both models use the industry standard 40mm stroke and 135.8mm crimping height. All of the Mecal mini-style Applicators for an range of terminals and wire diameters are suitable for use with the TT Press. Optional accessories can also be fitted and supplied with the press including cutting/stripping and CFA (Crimp Force Analysis)

Mecal Crimping Press - P040

Presses

The P040 Crimping Press is available either in semi-automatic (for bench-top use BT) configuration or in full automatic (integrated into a cut and strip machine) configuration. It can be coupled to all mini-applicators and applicators with the standard T-coupling and to all two-post crimping dies with a 20mm-diameter coupling shank. The P040 is normally delivered with a 135.8mm +/- 0.02mm crimping height ( measured from the applicator base plate to the press T-coupling when at Bottom Dead Center). Upon request a shank coupling can be installed to set the crimping height to 212mm for MSA Crimping Dies. Fitted with a self-braking electric motor, the P040 has a standard stroke of 40mm, and upon request a variable stroke version is available: in this configuration the stroke can be set between 20 and 40mm, in 5mm increments. Other different strokes are available upon request. Mecal’s own CFA crimp force analyser can be fitted as an option. The semi-automatic configuration (for bench top use) always includes safety cover, reel arm, foot switch according to the international safety standard and CE regulation.

The P080 Crimping Press is available either in semi-automatic (for bench-top use BT) configuration or in full automatic (integrated into a cut and strip machine) configuration. It can be coupled to all mini-applicators and applicators with the standard T-coupling and to all Two-Post Crimping Dies with a 20mm-diameter coupling shank. The standard variable stroke can be adjusted either to 40 or 50mm, with other strokes available upon request. Fitted with a self-braking electric motor, the P080 is normally delivered with a 135.8mm ± 0.02mm crimping height (measured from the applicator base plate to the press T-coupling when at Bottom Dead Center), but the operator can set the crimping height at 212mm with simple tools and an adapting kit (shank coupling) supplied with the press. Optional safety optical barriers allow the operator to load loose terminals directly over the anvil. Mecal’s own CFA Crimp Force Analyser can be fitted as an option. Mecal Crimping Press - P200

Presses

The P200 Crimping Press has been specifically conceived to crimp very big-section wires or to handle embossing process where pressure up and above 20 tons is called for. Designed to accept Extreme Duty Two-Post Die MSCS, with the specific adapting shank can also receive Two-Post Dies MSA. With the press ram at Bottom Dead Center, the P200 has a crimping height of 190 mm. The P200 Crimping Press has a regulating head PN 951270110, which allows for a continuous setting of the crimping height, with a 0.1mm resolution and a 5.8mm range. It is fitted with a 360° safety cover, the only open side of which is protected by a set of optical barriers. As an alternative, the open side can be protected by an air operated moving cover. All the controls, including the one allowing a step-by-step cycling of the press, are placed on two external control boxes. Produced under a quality Management System certified to ISO 9001 (TÜV).
